Dr. Crandall has 31 years of hands-on research experience working at the bench. Between 1974 and 1985, she was the principal investigator of 13 prestigious federal fellowships and grants totaling $525,833. As head of her own laboratories at several universities, she performed the following independent research activities:

A pharmaceutical firm hired Dr. Crandall to compare the efficacy of various antifungal drugs against different yeasts [see abstract by Kamyar, A., Crandall, M. and Edwards, Jr., J.E. Diagnostic Tests:

A diagnostics firm hired Dr. Crandall to develop a test for the detection of Candida antigen in vaginal specimens [see abstract by Crandall, M., Nelson, A. and Sustarsic, D. (1988) An EIA for Candida Proteinase in Vaginitis. Abs. Ann. Mtg. Amer. Soc. Microbiol. F-42.]

Medical Devices:
